Foreign nationals from more than 70+ countries can enter Morocco visa-free. Three categories of foreign nationals are now eligible to apply for the Morocco e-Visa: (1) foreign countries approved by the Moroccan authorities, such as Thailand and Israel; (2) foreign nationals who hold a residence/stay permit in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Japan, Norway, New Zealand, or Norway that is valid for 180 days from the visa application date; and (3) foreign nationals with a valid sticker visa to the US, UK, Schengen zone, Australia, Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand that is valid for at least 90 days from the e-Visa application date. The Morocco e-Visa is issued as a single-entry visa that allows a 30-day stay within a 180-day validity period.
Foreign nationals not eligible to enter Morocco visa-free or apply for a Morocco e-Visa must apply for a Moroccan sticker visa at their nearest Moroccan embassy or representation office abroad. Depending on the applicant’s nationality and purpose for visiting Morocco, Morocco visas can be issued as single, double or multiple entry with a permitted stay of 1 day, 3 months, or up to 1 year.

Also known as the Morocco tourist visa, this visa is a non-immigration visa for short-term visit purposes and is issued as single or multiple entry, allowing for stays ranging between 1 to 90 days.
This visa is for long-term activities and is normally issued as a multiple entry, allowing a stay of 1 to 90 days within a validity period of up to 1 year. Visitors wishing to stay longer than 90 days must apply for a Morocco long-term residency from the Morocco General Directorate of National Security.
This visa is for travelers transiting through Morocco on their way to another destination, and allows for 1 or 2 transits with a maximum 72-hours stay duration each visit.
This visa is issued by the Morocco Security Services at the borders for special cases.
Morocco visa requirements for e-Visas and sticker visas include:

Nationals required to apply for a Morocco sticker visa must follow these steps:
• Print out the Morocco visa application form.
• Fill out the form using Latin capital letters and sign the application form
• Note that you can fill the form in Arabic, except for the surname, first name, and birthplace must be in Latin characters

Morocco visa fee varies depending on the type of visa. A Moroccan transit visa, valid to up to 72 hours, costs a total of 170 DH, while a single-entry visa for less than 3 months costs 220 DH and a double entry visa for less than 3 months costs 330 DH.
For everyday use in Morocco, you will need to have the local Moroccan Dirham. However, in some tourist areas, the Euro, the US Dollar and, to a lesser extent the Sterling are accepted. Moroccan Dirham can be purchased at the exchange rate is set by the Central Bank of Morocco, upon arrival to Morocco from the airport exchange shop or from banks and hotels. You can also withdraw cash in Dirhams from ATM machines in major cities and towns and you can also pay for your purchases using your credit/debit cards.
